With the advent of micro chipped based communication technology and global investor markets, real estate is no longer the ‘bricks and mortar’ safe and secure investment vehicle it once was. In fact, given the spread and volatility of globally funded mortgage backed securities, what happens in the global financial markets can affect the price you pay for a property in your home town.
Like everything else in life, real estate has become a dynamic and complicated business. At My Real Estate Life, our role is to help our clients simplify the complexities of the real estate market so they can focus on achieving their goals. We will be posting accounts of our experiences as investors to this blog in the hopes that others may benefit. We will share what has worked, and what has not.
Investing in real estate can be incredibly rewarding, but it can also be fraught with peril. Our hope is that by sharing our experiences, others will not have to repeat the mistakes we have made.
